The longest strike in Starbucks Workers United history is coming to an end. After 131 days on the picket line, unionized baristas will return to the bargaining table in April.

Over 14,000 unionized workers have been demanding higher pay, better staffing, and resolution of over 600 unfair labor practice charges filed with the National Labor Relations Board. The union has scaled back some demands since November, now asking for a $17 minimum hourly wage (down from $20) and 4% annual raises (down from 5%).

Three Atlanta-area stores participated in the walkout. Workers are also pushing for at least three baristas per shift instead of two, along with stronger protections for scheduling, discipline, and safety.
