On a formerly vacant corner in Oakland City, a pocket neighborhood is taking shape with prices aimed at first-time buyers. Arizona-based Culdesac Inc. is building 19 modern townhomes at 1121 Allene, less than a block from what will officially become the BeltLine's Southwest Trail.

The project offers two and three-bedroom units in either two or three stories, all arranged around a central parklet. Each home includes a small backyard. Current prices start at $210K, with new down-payment assistance options now available for pre-sales.

Rob Maloney, Culdesac's business operations lead, says the project is on pace for August completion. For a BeltLine-adjacent location, these are some of the most affordable for-sale options you'll find. The Southwest Trail connection means residents will have direct access to the growing westside trail network.
