Candler Park is the residential neighborhood between Inman Park and Decatur's Lake Claire area, centered around Candler Park itself (a 55-acre green space with a pool, golf course, and the Candler Park Market). The annual Candler Park Fall Fest draws big crowds.
Housing is mostly Craftsman bungalows and larger family homes, with prices that reflect the neighborhood's strong schools (Mary Lin Elementary is in high demand), walkability, and east-side location. The Edgewood/Candler Park MARTA station is nearby, and the BeltLine is accessible via connecting trails and the PATH system. Candler Park is where you move when you want Inman Park character with a bit more space and a bit less hype.
