The pipeline of new Atlanta restaurants keeps filling up. What Now Atlanta tracked 15 upcoming concepts revealed in May, and a handful are landing in core ITP neighborhoods worth watching.
In Candler Park, a French-inspired Little Tart bakery is in the works, leaning on pastries and locally sourced ingredients with chocolate-pistachio croissants and praline escargots on the radar. Downtown is getting Hawaiian Bros Island Grill, a fast-casual spot built around Hawaiian plate lunches like Huli Huli chicken and Spam musubi. Near Chastain, Under Pressure Wine Bar is planning a 150-seat, wine-first room where, the concept goes, chefs build and season dishes after tasting the wine, backed by 200 to 300 bottles.
The rest of the May list skews toward the northern suburbs, with openings tied to Alpharetta, Roswell, Johns Creek, and Buckhead, plus expanding local names like Trap Wingz and the artist-owned Bizarre Coffee Company. For the full rundown of pre-openings, What Now Atlanta has the complete list. If you're hungry now rather than later, our Atlanta restaurants guide covers spots already open across the BeltLine corridor.
