The former Junior's Pizza space on Georgia Avenue in Summerhill is getting a new tenant, and it's bringing some serious pedigree. NADC Burger (that's 'Not a Damn Chance' for those wondering) was launched in Austin by pro skater Neen Williams and chef Phillip Frankland Lee, who has Michelin recognition under his belt.

The concept is beautifully simple: they make one burger, and they do it really well. We're talking double Wagyu beef patties with American cheese, secret sauce, onions, pickles, and jalapeños. That's it. Well, except for fries and 'beast mode' fries loaded with cheese, diced pickles, and more secret sauce. The simplicity is refreshing in a world of overcomplicated burger joints.

Summerhill has been seeing more food and beverage action lately, and this feels like a good fit for the neighborhood. It's listed as 'coming soon' on the Summerhill Atlanta website, so we're probably looking at an opening sometime in the next few months. Sometimes the best concepts are the ones that do one thing exceptionally well instead of trying to be everything to everyone.
