A new 16-home infill project called The Row 900 is going up on the 900 block of Hank Aaron Drive in Peoplestown, right on the path of MARTA's new Rapid A-Line. Homes range from 1,500 to 2,000 square feet with prices starting around $600K.
Peoplestown is a small residential neighborhood south of Summerhill and the Georgia State campus, with a history of community activism around housing and environmental justice. The neighborhood has been at the center of debates about stormwater infrastructure, displacement, and the impacts of nearby stadium development. New investment is coming, but so are concerns about preserving affordability for longtime residents. It's a neighborhood to watch as the Summerhill development wave pushes southward.
