Atlanta's World Cup party is officially massive.

The FIFA Fan Festival at Centennial Olympic Park has surpassed 250,000 visitors since the tournament kicked off, cementing the city's status as one of the premier destinations for global soccer fans.

Organizers announced Monday they're adding an extra night to the festival schedule for Thursday's pivotal USA vs Turkey Group D match. Gates will open at 6 p.m. ahead of the 10 p.m. kickoff, staying open until the final whistle.

The USMNT is riding high after Friday's 3-1 victory over Australia at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (temporarily branded as "Atlanta Stadium"), which secured their spot in the knockout rounds. Thursday's match will determine group standings heading into the elimination stage.

Spain continued their dominant run Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, routing Saudi Arabia 4-0 before 68,239 fans, with 18-year-old phenom Lamine Yamal putting on a show.

For fans who prefer neighborhood watch parties over the downtown crush, Decatur WatchFest '26 continues to draw packed crowds at the renovated Decatur Square, while dozens of bars and community centers across Midtown, East Atlanta, and beyond are hosting their own viewing events.
