404 Day is back. Atlanta's annual celebration of its original area code falls on Saturday, April 4, and organizers have a full slate of events planned throughout the city.
The day starts early with the Run Atlanta 404 Day Weekend 5K through Downtown and Castleberry Hill at 8 a.m. The 404 Day Parade steps off at 10 a.m., marching down Peachtree Street with floats, marching bands, and dancers. Then the 404 Day Block Party takes over Underground Atlanta from noon to 5 p.m. with live music, food trucks, and local vendors.
Friday night offers a preview with the "From 404 with LOVE" rooftop event at The Interlock, featuring a live band and awards for notable Atlantans. If you want to support scholarships, The 404 Fund Gala happens Thursday at Monday Night Brewing's Garage location with $150 tickets.
