A new cafe is heading downtown this spring. Silverspoon Cafe will open at 151 Ellis St. NE, according to a recent business license filing with the City of Atlanta.
Owner Jacquelyne Roberson, who also runs Silverspoon Catering, told What Now Atlanta she plans to operate the cafe Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. She is aiming for a May opening, though the final timing hinges on city permitting.
Menu and design details are still under wraps. For downtown, a weekday-breakfast-and-lunch spot on Ellis is the kind of independent opening the area has been quietly collecting as more residents move into the surrounding towers and the World Cup push brings new foot traffic through the core.
