About Atlantic Station
Atlantic Station is a mixed-use development built on the former Atlantic Steel mill site, located between Midtown and Home Park. It's a planned community with retail, restaurants, offices, and residential units arranged in a walkable (if somewhat corporate) layout. IKEA anchors the retail side. A free shuttle connects to the Arts Center MARTA station. Atlantic Station is polarizing among Atlanta urbanists (it's walkable but feels like a mall that grew apartments), but it offers a self-contained, car-light lifestyle in a city where that's still rare.
