Nine months without sushi is a long time. Nakato Japanese Restaurant, the Cheshire Bridge Road institution, has launched what it calls the New Mama's Sushi Delivery Experience, bringing sushi straight to hospital rooms, according to Atlanta Magazine.

"Over the years, we've received so many requests from guests who have been dreaming about their favorite sushi rolls, sashimi and nigiri for nine very long months," owner Sachi Nakato Takahara told the magazine.
Nakato was opened in 1972 by Takahara's grandmother, Tetsuko Nakato, and has stayed in the family for three generations. A 10-mile radius from Cheshire Bridge covers most of the big intown hospitals, so this one is useful well beyond the neighborhood.
