WSB-TV reports Georgia Tech locked up the top seed in the ACC Tournament for the second year running, the first time doing it under first-year head coach James Ramsey. The tournament plays out Tuesday through Sunday at Truist Field in Charlotte.
This is the part of the calendar where the NCAA picture starts snapping into place. Conference tournaments decide most of the automatic bids this week, regional play opens May 29, and the College World Series in Omaha runs from June 12.
