When Hypepotamus first covered a scrappy Georgia Tech startup pitching health solutions in 2024, the team was one to watch at the Atlanta Startup Awards ceremony. Now GenAI Healthcare is getting ready to put a wearable health device in customers' hands.

Its product, NxRing, is now available for pre-orders. The device translates real-time biometrics and biomarkers, building on the company's NexCura platform for wellness insights.

"For manufacturing, we wanted to ensure the highest quality hardware for our customers," said CEO Ramesh Sundararajan. "It was difficult to find a unit that would realize our vision of the ring. We landed in Japan."

The company is also rolling out a new Physical Intelligence Lab to advance its capabilities.

"In building NexCura, our primary goal was always to provide a platform that would enable individuals to take ownership of their health and to stop reacting to health concerns, but preventing them in the first place," Sundararajan said.

GenAI Healthcare is based in Midtown, joining Atlanta's growing health tech ecosystem.
