For 35 years, Ed McBrayer's passion for connecting people with trails reshaped the landscape of Atlanta and far beyond. His vision helped carve the face of Georgia by building pathways, bridges, tunnels, and miles of trails.

McBrayer was one of three who helped start the PATH Foundation from the ground up. He taught his mentees how to build homes and trails, but also how to connect with others and build a life with integrity. Board member Jim Kennedy encouraged him to make others feel like they have value and purpose.

Those words guided McBrayer to create great partnerships and friendships throughout his career. The trails he built will serve generations who may never know the hands that made them possible.
