Colmado, the Old Fourth Ward hair salon known for its non-toxic, no-tipping approach, is branching out. The shop at 655 Highland Ave is adding a specialty wine shop and flower bar, according to NPU filings.
The expansion is set to open in May. Colmado has built a following in O4W for putting "artistry, well-being, and genuine connection first." Adding wine and flowers feels like a natural extension of that vibe.
It's the latest sign that Highland Avenue continues to evolve. The corridor between Ponce City Market and Inman Park has seen steady growth in boutique retail and food concepts.
