Barry's has officially landed in Midtown, and honestly, it was about time. The West Hollywood-born fitness brand opened its doors Thursday at 1105 West Peachtree, bringing those infamous Red Room workouts that celebrities swear by right to our backyard.
The timing couldn't be better. With Georgia Tech nearby and all those shiny new residential towers going up, Midtown was practically begging for a high-end fitness option that wasn't just another big box gym. The studio sits in the same mixed-use development as Google's Atlanta office and the Epicurean hotel, so you know the clientele is going to be interesting.
What sets Barry's apart is that cinematic Red Room experience - think dramatic lighting, thumping music, and workouts that make you feel like you're in a fitness movie. They've also got a dedicated LIFT studio for strength training and a Fuel Bar for post-workout smoothies. The locker rooms even come stocked with Dyson hair dryers and OUAI products, because apparently we can't just towel off like regular people anymore. But hey, if you're dropping serious cash on a workout, might as well get pampered.
