Atlanta rolled out ATL Culture House this week, a 23,000-square-foot cultural hub on the eighth floor of The CTR on Marietta Street that the city is pitching as the anchor of its 2026 FIFA World Cup festivities. Mayor Andre Dickens and Adriane V. Jefferson, executive director of the Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs, unveiled the space under the tagline "Culture by Design."

The programming runs June 14 through July 14 and includes eight signature activations with room for up to 2,000 people per event. Expect live performances, artist talks, film screenings, creative industry workshops, and youth and community programming. Admission is free, but attendance requires advance registration. Jefferson said the city received nearly 400 applications from artists, creators, and arts organizations. The review window closes April 27, with programming announcements coming May 7.

The CTR sits at 190 Marietta St. NW in the former CNN Center complex. Owner CP Group has been working to rebrand the building around public art and culture, including a new HENSE mural that just went up on its western facade. ATL Culture House is the centerpiece of that rebrand, and it gives Downtown Atlanta a real indoor cultural venue for a summer that is about to be wall-to-wall with soccer fans.
