More tacos are headed to Little Five Points. Local brand Taqueria Taquito Express is planning a new location at 1165 McLendon Ave. NE, based on a recent permit filing, according to What Now Atlanta.
The permit covers renovations to a small, roughly 350-square-foot building to prep the new spot. Owner Chris Murphy confirmed the location to What Now Atlanta but said an opening date is still up in the air.
The menu runs the full Mexican counter lineup: tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, nachos, and pupusas. The chain already has about a dozen locations around metro Atlanta, and this one plants a flag right in the middle of one of the city's most walkable, character-heavy corners.
