Another intown Atlanta church corner is becoming housing. In Reynoldstown, a project called Gemini is now fully underway at the northwest corner of Gibson and Cummings streets, according to Urbanize Atlanta.
The plan calls for two separate duplexes from Alpharetta-based Kashi Custom Homes. The lot sits just a block east of the BeltLine's Southeast Trail, formerly known as the Eastside Trail, which puts it in one of the most in-demand pockets of intown real estate right now.
Reynoldstown has been on this trajectory for a while. The neighborhood's stretch along the BeltLine has drawn steady infill and a major mixed-use redevelopment nearby, and small church-corner lots like this one keep getting redrawn as townhomes and duplexes. Whether that is a good trade depends on who you ask, but the pattern is unmistakable.
