Registration is now open for the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race, Atlanta's signature Fourth of July event. The 2026 race coincides with the 250th birthday of the United States and marks the debut of Northside Hospital as title sponsor.

"Moments like this don't come around often," said Rich Kenah, CEO of Atlanta Track Club and race director. "The 250th anniversary of the United States is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and there is no better place to celebrate the Fourth of July than at the Peachtree in Atlanta."

The Peachtree is the world's largest 10K, drawing more than 60,000 runners and walkers to a 6.2-mile course that begins at Lenox Square and finishes in Piedmont Park. Atlanta Track Club members are guaranteed a spot and pay $60 to enter. Everyone else must enter the race's lottery system ($80 if selected). Registration closes April 21.

This year's theme, "Peachtree Unites," reflects what organizers say the race has always done: bring Atlanta together for a celebration of community and endurance.
