About Ormewood Park
Ormewood Park is a residential neighborhood between Grant Park and East Atlanta, along the Glenwood Avenue corridor. It's been one of the quieter east-side success stories, with steadily appreciating home values and a growing reputation as a family-friendly spot with actual affordability (relative to Grant Park and Inman Park, anyway). The neighborhood has a strong sense of community, an active park, and good access to both the BeltLine's future Southside Trail and the commercial options in East Atlanta Village.
Housing is mostly bungalows and smaller homes on tree-lined streets, with some new construction filling in vacant lots. Ormewood Park sits in a sweet spot: close to the action but not in the middle of it. You're ten minutes from Downtown, five minutes from EAV, and surrounded by the kind of residential streets where kids still ride bikes. It's a neighborhood that gets recommended a lot in "where should I live in Atlanta" threads, and for good reason.
