Top Things to Do on the Eastside Trail

The Eastside Trail is the most popular section of the Atlanta BeltLine, running about 2.25 miles from Piedmont Park down to Inman Park. It's the stretch that put the BeltLine on the map, and it's packed with things to see, eat, and do along the way.

You can walk the whole thing in about 45 minutes, but you'll want to budget way more time than that. There are too many good stops to just blow through it. Here are the best things to do along the Eastside Trail, roughly in order from north to south.

1

Piedmont Park Access Point

Midtown

Start your walk at the southern end of Piedmont Park where the trail connects. The transition from park to trail is seamless, and you get some of the best skyline views right at the beginning.

  • Food vendors and buskers usually set up near the entry point
  • Start early on weekend mornings (before 9am) to beat the crowds
  • Great photo op with the Midtown skyline behind you
