The Freedom Plane National Tour has arrived in Atlanta, and it's bringing some of America's most important historical documents with it. Through April 12, you can see rare originals at the Atlanta History Center in Buckhead.
The collection includes an 1823 engraving of the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Association from 1774, the Treaty of Paris, a rare draft printing of the Constitution, and the Senate markup of the Bill of Rights. You can also see oaths of allegiance signed by George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, and Aaron Burr.
This is part of the nation's 250th birthday celebration. Admission is free, but you need to reserve tickets in advance. Entry is timed, so grab a slot online before you go.
