4-Year-Old Dies in Southwest Atlanta Domestic Violence Case

Police had to force their way into a locked apartment Saturday night during a domestic dispute call and found a man holding a severely injured child. The door was locked, so officers had to force their way in through a window. Inside, they found a man holding a 4-year-old girl who had been severely injured with multiple stab wounds. Using de-escalation techniques, they were able to get the child away from the man and rushed her to Hughes Spalding hospital, but it was too late.
