Atlanta's FIFA World Cup calendar is filling up fast. The city hosts eight matches at Atlanta Stadium from June 15 through July 15, including a semifinal.
The match schedule: Spain vs. Cabo Verde (June 15), a playoff winner vs. South Africa (June 18), Spain vs. Saudi Arabia (June 21), Morocco vs. Haiti (June 24), a playoff winner vs. Uzbekistan (June 27), a Round of 32 match (July 1), a Round of 16 match (July 7), and a semifinal (July 15).
FIFA opened last-minute face-value tickets on April 1, with an official Resale/Exchange Marketplace launching April 2.
Beyond the matches, the FIFA Fan Festival takes over the entirety of Centennial Olympic Park from June 16 to July 15. The free, family-friendly festival will feature four zones of live music, performances, kids' activities, match broadcasts, food vendors, and art installations.
The city's biggest event since the 1996 Olympics is expected to draw millions of visitors and billions in economic impact.
