Wayfair has opened a 150,000-square-foot superstore at The District at Howell Mill, its second brick-and-mortar store in the country. The first is in Wilmette, Illinois, just outside Chicago.

"Atlanta is one of the most dynamic home markets in the country," Vice President of Merchandising and Stores Liza Lefkowski said. "It's filled with creativity, growth, and people who want to invest in their homes. We already have a strong connection with customers here, and we look forward to building on that momentum."

The store carries merchandise for every room, including furniture, decor, housewares, bedding and bath, home improvement items, and seasonal goods. Lefkowski said Atlanta gave the company a chance to serve the broader Southeast with "a space that sparks ideas and makes home projects feel approachable."

Shoppers will find a cafe, in-store design advisors, and displays meant to help customers picture pieces in real rooms rather than scroll through listings. For The District at Howell Mill, Wayfair's footprint joins a mix that already leans on big-box anchors, and adds another reason for West Midtown home shoppers to stay on the west side of the Connector.
