Foundry404, a new 15,000-square-foot co-working space and startup incubator, opened its doors this week at 404 Georgia Avenue in Summerhill, just steps from Center Parc Stadium. The facility is designed specifically for early-stage tech startups and offers private offices, a prototyping lab, meeting rooms, and a 60-seat event space.
Founded by Georgia State University alumni David Park and Keisha Odom, Foundry404 is backed by a mix of private investment and grants from the Atlanta Committee for Progress. Notably, the hub offers subsidized memberships for founders from underrepresented backgrounds, with rates starting at $150 per month — roughly half the going rate for comparable spaces in Midtown or Buckhead.
"Summerhill is one of the most exciting neighborhoods in Atlanta right now, and we wanted to make sure the tech ecosystem here reflects the diversity of the community," Odom said. The hub already has 35 founding members, including startups in fintech, health tech, and logistics. Foundry404 will host its first demo day in June.
