The team behind Michelin-starred Mujo is opening Koshu Club on April 14 at the 99 West Paces building in Buckhead, across from the St. Regis hotel.

The 46-seat restaurant leans into Japan's Showa-era cuisine (1926 to 1989), a period when Western-influenced cooking fused with traditional Japanese dishes in supper clubs and night market stalls across the country.

Mujo culinary director Jordan Trent Harris oversees the kitchen with Chef de Cuisine Keith Miller. The menu is built around a three-course structure with robatayaki-style grilling, plus plates integrating Italian and French techniques. Expect dishes like gyukatsu (wagyu sandwich), mushroom doria, and American wagyu filet with demi-glace.

Smith Hanes Studio designed the moody, intimate space inspired by mid-century Japanese minimalism. Music taps into Showa-era supper club energy.

Castellucci Hospitality Group also operates Iberian Pig, Cooks & Soldiers, Sugo, and Double Zero. For CEO Fred Castellucci, the restaurant fills a gap in Atlanta's Japanese dining scene beyond omakase and sushi.
