The Cabbagetown community is reviving a small park near one of Atlanta's most iconic landmarks.

The park sits adjacent to the Krog Street Tunnel, the graffiti-covered underpass that has become one of the city's most photographed locations. The tunnel connects Cabbagetown to Inman Park and serves as an unofficial outdoor gallery.

Neighbors have been working to improve the green space, which had fallen into disrepair. The revitalization effort reflects Cabbagetown's ongoing transformation from an industrial mill village to one of Atlanta's most desirable intown neighborhoods.

The park improvements come as the surrounding area continues to see development pressure. The BeltLine's Eastside Trail runs nearby, driving foot traffic and real estate values throughout the corridor.

The Krog Street Tunnel's ever-changing murals draw tourists and locals alike, making the adjacent park a natural gathering spot.
