The Black Effect Podcast Festival is returning to Atlanta on April 25, bringing live tapings, panel discussions, and audience engagement to Pullman Yards in Kirkwood.
Now in its fourth year, the festival will be co-hosted by Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy of 'The Breakfast Club,' the nationally syndicated radio show that recently expanded to Netflix and has seen a surge in ratings among listeners ages 18 to 54.
Live tapings of 'Drink Champs,' 'Keep It Positive Sweetie,' 'Reality with the King,' and 'Don't Call Me White Girl' are planned. Panel discussions will cover topics including the influence of Gen Z in media and audio and media development.
The Black Effect Podcast Network, a joint venture between Charlamagne Tha God and iHeartMedia launched in 2020, has developed more than 60 shows. The festival runs from noon to 7 p.m.
