A wave of restaurant closings has hit the Atlanta area over the past few weeks, with several longtime spots shuttering with little notice.
Brew Dog on the BeltLine announced it served its final beer on March 8 after four years at its Krog Street location. The Scottish brewery's craft beer bar had been a popular stop for BeltLine walkers. "We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us," the bar said on Instagram.
Mojave in Sandy Springs also closed immediately on March 8 after seven years. The Latin American restaurant was known for house-made tamales and paella.
Meanwhile, Agave, the longtime Cabbagetown Mexican restaurant, announced its closure after years as a neighborhood anchor. The restaurant had been a staple on Carroll Street and a favorite among east side residents.
On the brighter side, several new concepts are headed to the metro area, including Bora Bora Smoothie Cafe at Plaza Midtown and multiple new pizza spots across the suburbs.
